You must have played Minesweeper that comes as a default game with your Windows. The game requires prompt logical skills on the part of the player to move safely for clearing the abstract minefield as even a single careless step can detonate the mine, thus ending the game. However, you might have been bored of viewing and playing same old game, then its time to try your hands on a bigger challenge. Try playing Combat Engineer that is new variation of Minesweeper style games. With the limited time available you require uncovering the mine field with an intriguing task of switching off certain mines in game field’s corners. It includes several levels with growing difficulty, illustrious high scores record, along with honor roll for quickly tracking family experts by assigning nice funny icons to them.
The Combat Engineer is easily installable and doesn’t take much memory and desktop space thus preventing low PC performance. Its game-play is smooth and involves easy controls for playing the game. In the game, your objective is to uncover the minefield while escaping from hidden mines, and all this is to be done within a specific time-limit. Use left mouse click for uncovering the cell and a digit would be opened. The digit shown in the cell denotes the count of neighbor mines, and this is where you have to apply your logical skills and calculations to figure out which cell you should click. You’re provided with an energy suit that can resist two explosions, after which if you stepped on any mine, game’s over. Even you can make guesses on where a mine can be, by placing a mark with right click. The game can be played with different difficulty levels from Easy, Medium, Hard, to Very Hard. Even it can be controlled by using keyboard. The count of mines and time limit, both get changed on every levels, giving you different challenging circumstances.
Combat Engineer 2.0 game is a challenging game which requires its players to quickly apply their calculative and logical skills to move intelligently. The game receives a score of 4 rating points for its intriguing and challenging game-play and its highly customizable play controls.
